LP – Black Vinyl.

Yazoo releases The Best of Charlie Patton, on vinyl. Patton’s legacy is pervasive and influenced generations of blues musicians. His greatness as a singer and musician is apparent from his very best, which obviously are among the greatest examples of rural black music ever preserved.

“After 90-odd years, Patton’s sheer focus and magnetic, almost palpable presence will still jump out of your speakers and grab you by the throat.” – Rolling Stone
