Motion City Soundtrack broke up in 2016 after a farewell tour in 2016, and now frontman Justin Courtney Pierre is going solo. His debut solo album In The Drink comes out October 12 via Epitaph, and the lead single is the title track, which actually isnt a million miles away from where Motion City Soundtrack left off. The album was produced by his MCS bandmate Joshua Cain, and Justin played every instrument on the album except drums, which were recorded by David Jarnstrom (Gratitude, BNLX), trumpet, and backing vocals.
