Gois the debut studio album byIcelandicmusicianJnsi, frontman of thepost-rockbandSigur Rs. The album was released on 5 April 2010, throughXL Recordings,[2]as reported by a downloadable track from the official site.[3]The fourth track of the album, “Boy Lilikoi”, was released for free from Jnsi’s website, available to those subscribing to the website’s mailing list.

The album features predominantly acoustic music and string arrangements from composerNico Muhly. The album was co-produced byAlex Somers,Peter Katisand Jnsi himself, during summer 2009, inReykjavkandConnecticut.[4]A worldwide tour across North America and Europe also took place upon the album’s release from AprilMay 2010, featuring Jnsi performing songs from the album and a “unique, cinematic” performance stage designed by59 Productions.

“Kolniur” was featured at the end of theCriminal Mindssixth-season episode “Lauren” and in a trailer forReal Steel. It also featured at the end of the first-season finale of the reality seriesFlying Wild Alaska. “Around Us” was included on theFIFA 11soundtrack[5]and the trailer for theDisneydub ofThe Secret World of Arrietty.

“Tornado” was featured in the filmDisconnect, at the closing scene and ending credits, which got overall positive critical praise.
