Los Belking\’s emerged during the British Invasion transformation, capturing Peru\’s fascination with rock instruments. In 1966, they became Peru\’s first all-instrumental band. Group, inspired by The Ventures and The Shadows. Founding member Ral Herrera formed the group in response to the wave of rock that was sweeping Lima, blending surf and rock sounds that were bucking trends. Managed by disc jockey Gustavo Galliani, Los Belking\’s secured a deal with the El Virrey label.
